Ancient Wisdom

Listen!
Do you hear them?
Ancient voices from around the world,
floating on ghostly winds.

Every word  that has ever been spoken,
still exist in the silence of time long
cast. If you listen close to the howling
winds, you can hear those voices crying
out from that ancient past.

Philosophers, prophets, Kings, Queens, Statesmen,
Popes, Evangelists, and people like you and me,
all warning of what this old world might come to be.

But no one listen, no one seems to care and
the mistakes of humanity are repeated over
and over for each new generation to bear.

Words of ancient wisdom decay to dust in the wind,
and that's become of humanities moral sin.
