THE LONG AND THE SHORT OF IT
I lie there and I try to sleep,
Try not to think about you,
I try to count confounded sheep
But it's so hard without you.
I think of valleys, think of hills,
Of beautious countryside,
And lying mid the daffidils
With you there by my side.
