Dark shadows may surround you at times
through bad experiences
and from hurtful and painful moments
And its times like that
when you feel like your heart
has been broken into a million pieces
because your heart has been over shadowed
with dark clouds
and mixed emotions
But still you keep hoping that things will change
and all you have is a glimmer of hope
for a peaceful tomorrow
And I know that the hardest thing to do
is to let go of all the pieces that have been shattered in your heart in every direction
Keep praying and hoping that the days ahead
will be better then today
And let the tomorrow's to come
embrace you on the wings of a prayer
The nice thing about life is that we can always count on hope
and with hope the dark shadows will fade
so that you can heal inside.
and let go of all the mixed emotions
so that the broken pieces to your heart
can finally be put back together again.
