A scattering of ashes
In loving memory
For a man no longer amongst us
But in heaven he will be
Husband, father and grandad
A great man to all
Teaching was his career
But all have to answer the heavenly call
Bicycle trips and walks
Along New Brighton shore
His family was his world
He couldn't love them more
But now his wishes
We would like to keep
As silent tears
In memory of him we'll weep
A final closing of a door
Two long years have gone
And without him beside us
We shall carry on
So now a scattering of ashes to the winds
Aboard a ferry boat on the River Mersey
A tribute in memory
From Thomas's loving family
