Some one that I know
has caused my heart to tremble today
as tears are falling down my cheeks
Because some one very special
has left imprints in my mind
that I will always remember
Because she touched my heart in a gentle way
And every time our paths would cross
we would embrace each other
and she would always
give me a kiss on the cheek
But now has come a time
that is very difficult for all of us
Because her body is breaking down
and she is feeling very weak
She has struggled with chemotherapy
and radiation has taken its toll
And she found out a couple of weeks ago
that there is nothing more that they can do
Because her disease has gone to her liver
She fought hard to beat this terrible disease
but yet it kept holding on
and wouldn't cease
I watched her body drastically change
over the course of a year
And now she is frail and weak
and soon she will be going to Heaven
I pray that the Angels above
will comfort her in her last moments here on earth
and deep down inside my heart
I know they will be right by her side
It's through experiences like this
that makes you realize
That our time here on earth is very short
and that we will never know the time or the day
when it will be our turn to go away
I know she has so many things to say
before she takes those steps
when she will cross over into Heaven
And deep down inside I hope and pray
that the good Lord will let all of her loved ones
get together one last time today
So that they can all share the memories
of there lives together
And to remind each other
how much they love each other too
I know it's a very difficult day
it always is when some one
you know passes away
I went through it twice
when I lost my Mom and Dad.
So I get goose bumps every time
when someone else gains there wings
Please say a little prayer for her today
so that she will not suffer anymore
