I was up in the sky today
in a glider airplane
gliding in the wind
at six thousand feet
with the engine turned off
It was such an amazing feeling gliding
through the air like an eagle in the sky
as my heart began to pound inside
I felt like I was in a dreamy state of mind
It was such an awesome experience
being that much closer to heaven
As the plane floated through the air
There was hardly a cloud in the sky
soaring up high
floating in the sky
as the winds guided the planes every move
And the silence of peace embraced
me in every way
The wind was my companion
and the sky was my friend
all this awe and beauty
cannot be compared
Because on this special day
I was embraced by heaven
