I know loneliness is a hard thing to go through
each and every day
But I promise you some day real soon
you wont be lonely anymore
I have been there at one time or another
in my life and it is hard
The days seem like an endless storm
And the nights are always restless
when all you have is your pillow to hold
Because you feel so empty and alone inside
There is someone out there just for you
And I promise you some day
you will find that special someone
who will accept you for you
And then everything else will fit into place
and then it will be like spring time all over again
Then you will see all the magnificent colors
and your life will be brighter too
And the darkness that you feel
will fade forever
Because you will have someone to share
each and every day with too
And the nicest thing about it all
is that you will know that
they will treat you like royalty
The way it should be
It's the simple things
Like making you a meal while you are still asleep
or planning a trip together
and leaving on the spur of the moment
sharing life and laughter together
I know right now that may be hard for you to understand
but your time will come
when someone just like you that is in need
for the same things that you crave and want
and more than anything
Someone who will go the distance with you
And then you can leave the sadness and emptiness that you feel behind
Because then you will have found
the right ingredient to a life long journey
filled with love and hope and a promise of many brighter days
