sleep, two sided
the secret one

Poetic-Verses-Awakening Spirits and Memories
Watering the Lawn
Today I forgot
To water the lawn
So now it's starting
To wilt and mourn
For the cold winter
Days when the rain
Poured down at regular times
‘Cos we live in colder climes
You would think I would be
Glad to see the sun
But believe me
It's not much fun
For I hate to water
The garden every day
For I'd sooner
Stay out and play
For gardening is such a chore
I find it all rather a bore
I'd sooner be lying flat on my back
With sunglasses, book and ice-cola pack
But the garden is looking
So lovely in reds pinks and blues
That I really should cover water
Over those beautiful hues
So off to get the hose
Stick it on the tap off we go
Water flooding over the kitchen floor
I think I'd better head for the door
I give up!
Just go and get
Me the b****y watering can
Until I think of a better plan
