Catherine's poems
Yesterday I went
To visit a good mate
She'd been busy writing
Loads of poems to date
She'd had a visit to hospital
Which had given her a bit of a fright
So now putting pen to paper
She been writing throughout the night
These poems were dark
About things of the mind
Things which shouldn't happen
To human kind
About those who suffer abuse
At the hands of “Sick” people
Who will never change their ways
Till the ending of their days
When Hell and damnation will be the fate
For those who abuse
It's far too late
For those who choose to misuse.
She writes of doctors
And nurses too
Spending hours looking after
Poorly ones like me and you
But then she also wrote poems
About the hospital waiting room
Where your mind can get bored
And getting out can't come too soon
What will she next write about
There is bound to be
Loads more from her,
That I don't doubt!
