She's beautiful, she's popular
She's a goddess But not according to her father She's a diamond but scratched by family She's lost her spirit She doesn't hide behind a smile But yet stays conceal But she's a great person wishing to reveal She's intelligent But held down by dads negligence Without dads support What is she to do Why trust a man From beginning that's been damned She's search for love in men But still destroyed in the end She cries when no one see's But one day she told me I wish her to understand I once wanted to be her man but now I'll be her friend You can call on me when it hurts when dad makes you feel like dirt call me (202)-723-255-6 trust your life can be fixed I know your hurting Your hurting to know dad denies you But a future is what you need to see He may have held you down And yet you continued to frown But no longer you have the power You will stand up for yourself Vote for this poem
