The Day The World Stood Still

As the world stood still on September 11, 2001
The first trade center went down, the plane burst into flames and
the other trade center did the same.

Who could to such a thing? Aren't they ashamed?
I guess they don't really care who they hurt.
Will these people ever learn? Thousands of people lost their lives
That day.
Their families will never be able to bring them back.
Now there will be children that will grow up with only one parent or none at all. There are little babies that will never meet their fathers.

How could you do something like this?
Killing innocent people is not the answer to anything you do.

This poem is for anyone who lost family or friends on September 11, 2001
