Humbug!!

It’s snowing for the first time this year,
so I guess winter is really here.
Oh me! Oh my!
Why did summer and
autumn have to go by, by?

When I was a kid, I liked snow.
You know…snow balls and all.
But now I don’t like snow because,
I’m grumpy and old.

Snow is cold and wet,
and it makes my nose run,
and you know, that’s no fun.

Shoveling that damn snow…
If I slip and fall,
a doctor they’ll
have to call!
Doctor bills, medical stuff,
days in bed…that’s enough!

The roads are icy and slick,
and I’m sneezing again,
I think I’m going to be sick.

Oh Me! Oh My!
Why did summer and
autumn have to go by, by?

Oh! Please spring come soon,
before I begin to cry!
