THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE SAUSAGE

I thought he'd fight me fair and square
But what he did it wasn't fair
He challenged me to step outside
I had to do so for my pride
I knew he'd had a lot to drink
Could see him toppling on the brink
And thought it'd only need one bop
To bring this nonsense to a stop
The people followed stood around
As I squared up and stood my ground
Ready with the best of whacks
But then he stopped me in my tracks
Without so much as a by-your-leave
Pulled a length of black pudding from his sleeve
Brandished it in knuckled fist
Did a little sort of twist
And made a lunge in my direction
Got me where I'd no protection
Winded me and made me double
No way out I was in trouble
Had to give in had no choice
Then from the crowd I heard a voice
Take a hold of this my boy
He handed me a saveloy
Ah ha hee hee with second wind
I looked him in the eye and grinned
And as the urge for revenge got me
I gave him an upper tracheot'my
He soon surrendered he was done
The crowd said well done one by one
When the dust settled I helped him up
Bought him a pint of beer to sup
But it did him little good poor sole
Went in his mouth and out the hole.
