I Miss you GrandmaEven through the years gone past Our memories of you remain and last. The day you died leaving us behind Will never leave our hearts and mind. A short time we had you with us here. As I sit and remember days long gone, I shed a tear. I miss you Grandma with all of my heart. Memories of you flow around me like art. Your smile I wish I could see once more To hear your voice say “Hi Shannon,” I know I could soar. Around this world and back again. Flying high in the clouds with you my heart could mend. Your warmth was always so gentle and true. That is why we always loved the person in you. You loved without pain or judging our wrongs. You remained faithful to us regardless of our songs. Our lives without you we each have to face. As each searches a quest as we run the race. To see you and be reunited with you once again. To tell you we miss you, so for you Grandma lots of love we send. I miss you Grandma! Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
