ever
ever onward up the hill
I will struggle on until
the end of this idiocy
and then i will plainly see
ever ongoing a battle royal
are thoughts within my call
twisting my mind to insanity
when will these thoughts let me be
ever moving
ever proving
showing me there is a way
to end the tears of today
they were never there
in the first place
for thoughts were
not in the same space
ever shifty
this veil of time
hiding in obscurity
too sublime
ever holding onto something unreal
this is the deck I deal
laying out the cards to read
letting my heart finally bleed
allowing the ache
to finally release
to give me at last
inner peace!
