Water Wars vii -. progress

There is a lushness and a greenness surrounding this camp
You can see it creeping nearer almost by each passing day
There is a smell of growth and smell of imminent rebirth
And in the gentle breezes you can hear the greenery sway
There is a feeling of satisfaction
And a tangible air of open pride
The emissary kept to his promise
After the tribes came back inside
The neural fence disarmed
In a treaty of mutual trust
The people worked together
As they knew they surely must
To restore this little kingdom
Restore this parched land
The emissary and the Shaman
Together working hand in hand
With the councils of the tribes
And the U N Def For Command
The legends tell how it was not easy
How they had to combat distrust fear
How they adopted a common slogan
Of we've survived yet another year
Now there is food almost a plenty
As this oasis thrives and expands
And there is life and there is order
In the surrounding peaceful lands
They say Shaman watches closely
From her eternal mystic slumber
Sees her people expand and thrive
To almost undreamed of number
And followers of the emissary
Followed his wisdom and worth
And learned to live in peace
To respect our mother earth
They are remembered together
Eternally linked every year
As ever more bounteous harvest
Mean times of plenty come near
There is a little shrine at camp centre
Of revered and respected things
The battered key of an ancient ford
And a pair of silver para wings.
There  is a lushness and a greenness surrounding this camp
You can see it creeping nearer almost by each passing day
There is a smell of growth and smell of imminent rebirth
And in the gentle breezes you can hear the greenery sway
