My Poems are written straight from my heart, some are from the hardships I have experienced in my life, and some are from the inspiration of my two boys Matthew and Adam
A Connection
I had seen him so many times before
But that day for some reason, I noticed him more
He wasn't smiling and looked quite tense
I don't know why that look made sense
I wanted to say something, to bring on a smile
For some reason I didn't, I waited a while
Then he was gone and nowhere to be found
I'd go there each day and look all around
I hunted him down and asked for a date
Just like I knew, we got along great
We had intimate talks,
love and affection
From our first moment together
I felt this connection
He was everything I needed for my dream man to be
My heart had this lock and he held the key
We were meant to be together
I feel it in my soul
Two lonely pieces searching
to make the puzzle whole
