The Potters wheel of life
Written by D.A.M
December 8, 2005

The potters wheel continues to turn
And time continues to spin

While we are molded from clay

In the beginning
he molded us in his image it was the only way

He took my hand to guide me
but yet I walked away
And I was lead astray

On my own behalf
I fell from the beaten path
And did things my way

He tried to lead me
and he tried to direct me
and more importantly
he tried to protect me

But I was blinded

Time has been my teacher
And I see things so differently now

I am confident

From all the lessons
that I had to learn the hard way

But some how along the way
it made me made me realize
That I need to take his hand

And never let go again

So that I can stay alive

He will continue to mold me
in his image
On the potters wheel of life.

It's the only way.

(God bless you and thank you for listening to my story.)
