You raised me up (Revised and Updated (4-19-07)

You raised me up

I walked beside you
and I enjoyed every moment
I could spend with you

Every day you
would embrace me
and you showed me
how much you cared

When ever I
was down and blue
you would raise me up
just by being you

When ever you were beside me
nothing seemed impossible
because life itself
was so beautiful with you

Since you have been gone
I have felt so lost
and empty inside
because you are no longer around

No matter how much time goes by
I want to remind you
that I think of you every day
and I miss you more
then any words
can ever express

No matter where you are
I will always remember
the special  times
that the two of us
shared together
when you were here

At times I still catch
myself reminiscing
about you
and all the things
that we used to do

Because just being around you
was all that it took
to lift my spirits
because you made me feel
like I was on the tallest mountain
because of the way that you loved me

The two of us
always faced
the storms together
because you were
always there to lift me up
past the stormy weather

You raised me up
and as long as I live
I will never ever forget you

God bless you
I miss you
in every way.
