My Heart and Soul

THIS UNIFORM

This uniform I wear
Where thousands men and woman before have worn
Why do these people do this career
The reason of their sacrifice.
Sacrifice I call it.
To leave home behind at a dime
To complete a written contact u swear too.
Sacrifice I call it
To leave love ones behind
To leave a new born baby behind.
To not know if they will return home.
This uniform

People who don't wear this uniform
Will never know this what I'm speaking about
Understand our sacrifice
Each and everyday
Not just deployed
But also at home

To understand the reason of each man or woman who wear this uniform
Just ask them why?
Why do u go through this?
Some say for the country
Others say family and education
For what ever reason Ur told
It doesn't matter
As for me
I wear this uniform
For the memories that will last a life time.
