Chest of Drawers
How to describe an item within its stricture,
Definition would be bettered,
With use of a picture!
How to compose such a work of art,
When I'm not that lettered…
To write about what it does would be a start,
Describe it in its uniformity.
A large wooden box, three drawers,
A bottom and a top laid with glass.
Such conformity…
It's usage...
A place in which your clothes to stash!
A fancy gold trim to decorate the sides!
Drawers with fancy handles...
On runners gently glide...
Open to reveal dark interior within…
Piled up jumpers, tops and underwear,
Stuffed to the brim!
But when the drawers are shut who cares?
When all is said and done!
It's rather boring,
Because that's its only use…!
