One of these days you are going to wake up and realize
the time has come to open your eyes
All your life
you have had to deal with deception
and a whole lot of lies
You were married for so many years
And yet you stayed beside him
until he broke all your bones
and you dropped down to your knees in tears
He took away every bit of worth
that you had inside of you
and you still stayed beside him
because you didn't
know what to do
But one of these days your going to realize
it is time to open up your eyes
and get down on your knees and pray
So that you can start to heal
and be thankful for every day
Because you will never ever feel alone again
because from this day on
God will be beside you till the very end
You have to let go
of all of your hurt
and all of your pain
and you have to
let go of the burdens
that are slowly driving you insane
The time is now to walk away
so that you can start living again
Just take a few moments out of your day
and kneel down and pray
and hand all your burdens over to God
So that you will be able
to start living again
It wont be easy at first
and there will be many hurdles to cross
And you will have to adjust
to a different way of life now
But it is better to walk away
and still have your dignity
and still be alive to say
that you can start living again
You have been torn down and knocked down
And you have been broken and shattered
and all the dreams you use to have
have slowly faded away
Don't you think its time
to start thinking about life once again
So that you can live your life
with out any more burdens
or any more pain
One of these days
you will understand
what I am saying to you
So just take time out
to get down on your knees
and start praying with conviction
So that you can finally be released
from all the burdens
that are haunting you day in and day out
Because you will finally be embraced by heaven
set free with a new path that is pain free
and worth living your life once again.
