Two Babies
Two babies lay beneath my heart
Yes two instead of one
Peas in a pod right from the start
My bonnie, bonnie sons.
No-one could tell one from the other
Yet I knew them well
Guess because I am their mother
I could always tell.
History has now retold
Because they are twins dads
Babes within their arms enfold
From both my likely lads.
Thirty-six years now have gone
And `though they are full grown
They are still my babies
And my heart is their home.
So today I wish them well
May all their dreams come true
My love is yours my laddies
And comes from me to you.
