Final Days

As i watched the days go by,
all the doctors said was good luck and we'll try.
It wwas the best thing they could say or do,
as we cried and weeped boo hoo.
Even though the doctors felt doubt,
we still waited those days out.
When his chance of survival became low,
we figured it was his time to go.
While we sat and watched him die,
All we did was sit and cry.
We couldnt believe this was true
So please remember this "It could happen to you."

Dedicated to my Father who passed away February Friday 13,1998. I miss you daddy!
