Walls
Flitters of thoughts come in the deep dark night
Lying awake, dissolving issues of what I have done wrong and right
A creature of perfection, I know I am not
Decisions I have made, for some it has been hell I have wrought
Others have eyed me as a saving grace
Perhaps with a touch of poison dabbed on delicate lace
Few have searched past the seductive smile
For those that have, found that it wasn't worth their while
Guarded and steeled, there is no way in
Trust me I know, they are erected of my sin
