GRADUATION
from a child so shy, pretty and petite:
to a teen, beautiful, vivacious fun and elite:
from a grade school student, who worked so hard to do well:
to a high school student, wanted to have fun, and put her dad through a little hell:
from a little girl, with dreams so grand:
to a young mature woman, who now on her own can stand:
from an excited girl, in a hurry to come home to show me her student of the month award from school:
to a teen kinda laid back and cool:
from a grade schooler who loved school in every way:
to a high schooler whom i lost words to say, only for her could i pray:
from a 6th grader who excitedly ran for school president:
to a teen working, but don't want to help dad with the rent:
from a young lady in middle school who was very popular and nice:
to a fun loving teen, who like everybody else, aquired a few bad vice:
from a girl in middle school who on the vollyball team went 7-wins without a loss:
to a revoltive teen, doesn't want to listen to her dad as the boss:
FROM A GIRL IN THE 9TH GRADE, GOT A BOYFRIEND FELL IN LOVE WAY TOO FAST:
TO A GIRL IN 10TH GRADE STARTED WORKING, YOU COULD SAY HER CHILDHOOD DID NOT LAST:
from a girl who went from my daughter,to a teen on her own
to a girl who hardly wanted to be at home:
from a girl who had the courage to go out on her own:
to a father left betrayed lost and alone:
from a girl who would once look me in the eyes and sweetly smile:
to a girl who put distance between us, more than a mile:
from a sweet girl, always honest and sincere:
to a teen who my words she didn't hear:
from a girl who respected me full:
to a teen who thought my rules were bull:
from a girl i taught, that your family is number one:
to a teen it was more important, to be out late with friends to have fun:
from a young girl who saved my life when i was down:
to a teen who was never around:
from a child, so shy pretty and petite:
to a teen, beautiful, vivacious fun and elite:
FROM A FATHERS EVERLASTING LOVE:
I PRAY YOU FIND GOD OUR ALMIGHTY FATHER TO COMFORT YOU, GUIDE YOU FROM HEAVEN ABOVE:
