Don't let the flames
of pain destroy you
Don't you think
it is time to start fresh
and let go of the bitterness
that you have against others
Set it free
Because if you don't
it will have a way
of making your spirit
feel very empty inside
It is far better to forgive
then to hold hatred on your
shoulders
Because if you don't forgive
it will leave
claws in your belly
that will continue
to eat you up inside
The rewards in your life
can be bountiful
as long as you
have forgiveness in you heart
you can get a fresh start
Don't let the flames of pain
and bitterness destroy you ever again
I know right now that
you are hurting inside
and that you don't feel alive anymore
But you have to remember
that you only have one life
and it is a one way ticket
There is no
turning back
the hands of time
Once today is gone
it will be gone forever
Try to learn
to be kind to others
I know it is not
that easy anymore
But try it some time
and you will see what I mean
I am sure there will be
some people
who may not be grateful
But believe me
there will be many others
who will honestly be humbled
by your actions
And for those of you
who are not grateful
There is a special place
waiting for you
in the house of lies
where you will live forever
in the flames of pain
for all your transgressions
The time right now
is a good time for change
Because it is time
for you to move forward
and let go of the past
Remember it is better
to give to others
without expectations
of ever getting anything back
then not to give at all
And it is also better
to forgive others
who have caused you harm
and brought sorrows
in your life time
I know that
it may not be
that easy for you
it wasn't that easy
for me either at first
But believe me
once you forgive
and you let go
of the flames of pain
And once that you give
with kindness in your heart
You will be set free
for the very first time
from all of your pain
and all your burdens too
That's when you will feel the rivers
calming your spirit as you sleep
and you wont be restless anymore
You will sleep just like you slept
when you were a child.
Now you wont have to carry
those burdens on your shoulders
ever again
Because now that you have
forgiveness in your heart
You can start living again
far away from the flames of pain
