I walked by the sandy beach
awaiting the crimson tide
as I felt the ocean waves at my feet
there was a peacefulness in the air that day
that was like heaven and earth
becoming one in each other right before my eyes
Leaving me
with utter fascination
in such a glorious place
by the sea
Misty saltwater
splashed on my face
as the waves
would slowly come in
only to go
back out again
as ocean waves would sing to me
in perfect harmony
Seagulls would take flight
right before my eyes
and palm trees would sway back in forth in the wind
as if the palm trees
were dancing a sacred dance
to let me know
that I was embraced by heaven that day
I knew in that moment
that I felt peace
for the very first time
because my mind was filtered and laced
with visions captured by the sea that day
that were beyond anything
I had ever seen
As I walked along the sandy beach that day
natural beauty embraced my mind and body
in all its splendor
as it enlightened me
with comfort and peace
And as the day began to wind down
and the afternoon almost came to an end
I would capture
tapestries painted in the skies
shining down on the sea
that would forever remain in my
memories and in my dreams
of that special day
walking by the sandy beach
as the sun began to down on the sea
filling my mind
with multiple florescent colors
sparkling down from the
the heavens above onto the sea
entrancing my visions with
hypnotic awe
and it laced my mind into a dream state
of a peaceful time by the sandy beach
This is something I could never forget
because I was embraced by heaven right here on earth that day.
