An Unknowing Mind
For My friend Vicki-Who suffers with mental disorders
A mental illness takes it toll on you.
It seizes your brain and mind.
Out of control as you reel.
Mental stability you long to find.
Up you go and crash down again.
A rollercoaster ride for your brain.
Crazy you seem to all of them,
As you travel this hectic train.
No one can understand why,
You are this way and that.
I am here to take the time,
To help show where you are at.
You are my friend no matter what.
I am here for you all the time.
For when you feel the need to cry,
For when you feel you have committed a crime.
Your mind does not work like mine.
Patience finds my heart and soul.
For you my friend, I will be here,
When madness begins to take its toll.
