My day started at five am
and I crawled out of bed
with you on my mind
and as I began
to wake up
from my deep sleep
this morning
I started to think about
how special I felt today
Because I was blessed with a dream
and it was you that I had seen
And that's when I started to remember
all the moments we used to share together
And how much I long for your kisses
and the passionate moments
and the times we used to cuddle together
So when I woke up this morning
it was a pleasant surprise
to know that you came to me in my dreams
and walked by my side
with your arms around me
And I remember the warmth
and the love that I felt with you
as we shared laughter and joy together
And that's when
it came to me
just how much
I have really missed you
and your touch
and your gentle caresses
and just spending time with you
It would really be nice
to share long conversations
with you again
So that I could
look into your eyes
one more time
and to be frozen
in the moment with you
