Do you remember
the last time you
were alone in your room
and you were
all by yourself
and you were having an empty blue day

And that's when your emotions
got the best of you and you started
feeling like no one out there
really seemed to care
and you didn't have anyone to talk to
because no one knew where you were

And now  emptiness  is eating away
at the very core of your being

And that's when you
decide to take a reality check
about all the things
that you are feeling right now
and all the things  
that you ever
really wanted in life
and how you wish that there was  just one person
that would be
right by your side this very moment

But you see you the sad thing is
that you gave up a long time ago
on looking for true love

Because unfortunately  you were hurt
really bad
by someone else
who had lied to you all of the time
and they never were
there for you
when you needed them most

And honestly
the two of you
weren't even best friends
so the person
that you cared about
chose to go away
and be with his other friends
leaving you at home alone
and you knew this wasn't right
but you put up with it
almost every night

And now you are alone
and going through an empty blue day
because you didn't
deserve to be treated that way
and because of everything
that you had been through

You really didn't think
that there was anyone out there
that was any different
compared to the one
that you have loved
for so long
and you already
had a taste
of the wrong kind of love
and it totally destroyed
all your trust in anyone

And you honestly didn't think
there was someone out there
that would compliment you every day
and share laughter and joy
with you in many ways
And respect you and appreciate you
for all that you are
and to love you
the way that you would want them too
also knowing that they would never
say hateful words
more or less harm you in any way

And now you find yourself wondering
if there really is someone
out there that can completely embrace
you for who you are
and respect you
more then you could ever imagine

I know that you are  going
through an  empty blue day
but just think for a moment
of all the possibilities

That there just might
be someone out there
who is just like you
wanting and needing
the same things
that you want too
and that they
are going through
there own empty blue day
just the way you are today

And this is when
you find yourself
day dreaming
in every imaginable way
about the imaginary person
who is in your dreams

So try to remember the next time that
you are having an empty blue day
that it doesn't have to be this way

Miracles really do happen
when we least expect them too

And finding someone
who can love you
the way you want them too
and finding someone who can accept you
just the way that you are

The kind of love
that you are looking for
doesn't happen that often

 
Take a chance
and give love
one more time
at happiness

Love may not come to you today
and it may not even come  tomorrow
but it will some day
so be ready

Because that's when everything
will fit into place
and you will feel in your heart
that it is time to give
love a second chance

And until that time comes
when you do find
that special someone to share your life with

Remember through every difficult day
that angels are right by your side
wether you believe it or not

And they will help you
get you through
to the next day
so that you can heal inside
and then you will be able
to love someone
one more time

And the next time around
you will never
have to go through
an empty blue day ever again
