Under the darkness of night
A young Indian Maiden
with her dreamcatchers in hand
Dances in the river
Capturing the dreams within her heart
She sings her lullabyes of love
to the full orange moon
Always her friend
when she sings of passions
Lighting her way in her dance
As each footstep falls
into the warm clear river
she weeps of a love gone wrong
She asks the night to bring her love
back, caught in her dreamcatchers
So she can tell her young brave
how much she misses him
Of her undying love for him
Catching his passions of her
As she dances in the river
No one will ever replace him
so each and every night
she catches his love to hear
when she sleeps
In the beauty of the dream catchers
She always keeps
In death as in life
A love beyond any ever known
Fills her heart and soul
A keepsake only she will know
As she dances in the river
