Don't let life get you down
Because it will always throw you around
There is so much out that it has to offer
Open your heart, be there for tomorrow
You will see that it has a plan for you
Taking you all the way, seeing you through
It is never easy, but if you believe
You will find that she is giving to you and me
There are always rough days and nights
But remember she keeps your happiness in her sights
By keeping faith in what we believe
It teaches us to not be naive
We can't live for ourselves in this world
There are so many out there who endure more
We forget that there is sadness all around
As we dwell in our own needs till we drown
Hunger, pain, suffering doesn't happened to just us
It takes the lives of others and leaves them breathless
Their hearts ache to know a good life
Something we take for granted every single day and night
Their cries can be seen and heard in all our hearts,
Reaching out to them is the hard part.
Helping them through the suffering they see and feel
Taking their hand helping them to heal
Looking into those eyes of sorrow,
We should be blessed that we have a tomorrow
Children starving, nothing to eat
Children dying, nothing to drink
Weakness sets in their tiny little bodies,
As they look up at their tearful mommies
Giving your Love and heart to those who cry out
Bringing a smile to a young face never giving into doubt
So when life seems like it has let you down,
Always remember the little faces all around
We can't live for ourselves in this world
Because there are those who endure more
