I know the older you get
the harder it gets for you
to deal with the constant abuse
that you have gone through
both physical and mental
It's time for you
to put an end to the madness
And yet you keep going
through it every day
And you keep
saying you want to stay
because you love him
How much more
will you have to take
before this whole situation
becomes one big mistake
and the piper takes your life
The time is now
to put an end to this madness
How much more pain
will you go through
before you can say
you have had enough
and you are ready to get away
The piper keeps playing his tune
And he keeps drinking every day
and that's when the devil takes over
and has his way with you
abusing you mentally
and physically hurting you
and every night you go some where to hide
until he goes to sleep
And then the next day
when the piper wakes up
its like a constant rerun
that keeps playing in your mind
Then the piper tells
you the same old story
and he tells you that he is sorry
even though
he doesn't remember everything
more or less all the pain
and the damage he has caused you
He should be held
accountable for all of his actions
And you shouldnt
be the one
who thinks that
you are always in trouble
I know you keep
saying that you love him
but at what cost
must you have to pay
for all of his pain
and the insantity
that you have to go
through each and every day
Why does it have to be this way
when you can get away from the madness
so that you can start healing inside
and free yourself from him
I wish you would start listening to me
and find someone
who can help you
and save your life
so that you can finally
put the piper in his place
Because it will
only get much worse
if you don't get help
and get away
and stop the abuse
How much more
will you have to take
before the piper takes your life
He already cut you with a knife
that alone should be enough
and it should have
never happened
in the first place
It isn't fair to you
to be treated
the way that you have been treated
And for you to have to live
each and every day in fear
Please remember
I will continue to say a prayer
for you and anyone
that is going through
the same thing that you are going through
Because it should never have been this way.
Get away from it all
so that you can start living again.
Without ever suffering any
pain again
