(My heart goes out to each and every one of you
that have had to go through anything like this)
You have chosen to be around the wrong crowd
because your Mom and Dad
got a divorce
because they had no choice
because they couldn't get along anymore
and they went there separate ways
And because of all of this
you are screaming out loud
and in your mind
all of your friends
are the only ones
that you think
do really care about you
And your so wrong
your just in there lives
for the ride
And only in time
will you understand
what I am trying to tell you
You have chosen to live
in the wrong part of town
and you keep forgetting about your family
who would do anything for you
if only you would stay around
long enough so that they could help you
And now your spirit
has been broken
and you have spoken
defiantly in such a way
that it is impossible to reach you
and now your wings have been
clipped and you cant fly anymore
I really do understand
that you have gone through so much
in the seventeen years
that you have been living
And now you are rebelling
in all the wrong ways
with all the wrong people
But you have to remember
that your family
really does care about you
and they really do love you
more then you will ever know
I know at times
that you really
don't think so
but they really do
love you
and they only want
what is best for you
I know that you
have made mistakes in the past
but they can be forgiven
only if you are ready to start
living again
and stop rebelling like you have
You have been so
defiant and unreachable in so many ways
and I don't blame you
and believe me I do understand
what you are going through
and that you blame your family for everything
because they had a divorce
and they don't love each other anymore
and I know that ever since then
you life has dramatically changed
And I know that you never wanted
to see that happen
but it did
and I am so sorry
that you are suffering so bad
I know that's the main reason
you are rebelling the way that you are
And now you are
making all the wrong choices
because you are so angry inside
You cant keep doing
this to yourself anymore
And you have to stop choosing
the wrong kind of friends
and start thinking about
how you can make
a difference in your own life now
We have all been through
a rebellious period in our lives
when we were younger
and some of us more then others
but then we found out the hard way
that this wasn't the way to live
day in and day out
But when it comes right down to it
you aren't the one to blame
And I do know
what your going through
And I hope that you realize
the same things
have happened to other people
just like they have with you
and I know its really hard to grow up so fast
especially when you still want to be a teenager
I am sorry that you had to
go through what you did
I just hope that you are ready
to start living again
in all the right ways
Quit blaming yourself
and those who love you
with all of there heart
Please wake up soon
and start fighting back
so that you can give
yourself a fresh start
so that you can have a better life
Many of us as human beings
have rebelled when we were younger
and some of us made poor choices
back in those days when we were teens
and you really have to understand
what you are doing to yourself
and how it can affect you
for the rest of your life
Remember one thing
what is broken can be fixed
Only if you are ready
to make a change
that will dramatically
improve your life
You're the only one
that can take the first step
and I can tell you this
the first step is the hardest
but I know you can do it
because I believe in you
Do some serious reflecting
on everything that has happened to you
and make a conscious
decision to get away
from the life
that you have chosen to live in
and give yourself at a second chance
Because if you don't decide to do this soon
you will run out of money
because you always wanted to party
and when that day comes
you won't have anything to give anymore
and the people that you call your friends
will spit you out like poison
and kick you out the door
And that's when everything will fall apart
and you wont have anywhere to go anymore
because all that your friends have ever wanted from you was the money
and anything else
they could get from you
so they could party
each and every day
And now you can see
what it has done to you
and your broken in every way
that you could ever imagine
And now your wings
are clipped and broken
and you cant fly anymore
Because the system
has gotten a hold of you
I really am sorry that everything
had to happen to you in this way
but maybe some day
you can share your story
of the process of your recovery
and everything that you had to go through
so that you could start living again
I really hope this will help you to understand
that we all have had to grow up
and we have all had to move forward in our lives
I hope you decide to do the same thing
and I hope that you make the right decision really soon
Because when you do make that decision
it will be the best decision
that you have ever made
Because once you make that first step
you will be able to regain your wings
one day at a time
and then you will be free
to soar and fly
as high as you want to fly again
