September is almost here

Lady liberty still stands tall
Ever since the aftermath
that terrorism brought to our shores
Many lives were taken that day
and we as a nation
paid a very high price
because so many
innocent lives were lost
and taken away from us before there time
And we as a nation
will keep fighting
for our freedom
no matter what the cost
Our nations
sons and daughters
and mothers and fathers
are still continuing
to fight for our freedom
And Lady liberty
still stands tall
smiling down on all of us
And we will keep
fighting for our freedom
as we always have and always will
Because this is
the American way
Many things have changed
since that horrific day
and we as a nation
will keep making freedom
our highest priority
It has been almost
five years since
we were attacked
in such a vicious way
And we as a nation
have still prevailed
God bless the USA
And God bless the men and women
who are fighting
for our freedom every day
