God's Dolphins
We are dolphins
In a sea of God,
Yet cannot find Him I
Think that's odd
For God is here,
He's all around
If God were water,
We'd have drowned
Yet here we are,
Feeling lost,
Searching for God
At any cost
Including when we're
Getting sauced
And God's right here
Was never lost,
But Her dear dolphins
She won't accost,
Because She knows we, too,
Are never lost
We'll know that, too
When the edge we've crossed
So yes, we are dolphins,
Immersed in God,
Who's up close and personal,
Who's far and abroad
And wherever we go,
Right there is God
