foolishness
Foolishness of people where love is concerned, this is written for another who is going through this situation!
The night has gone
promises to stay
to soothe your fears
and take away your sorrowed tears
this is the danger I place myself
whenever I follow you here
you play the game
and I am lost
foolishly I listen
to your words of pain
and think that I can help
that you will be here for me again
I give you all
I take it slow
but you take me
where I dont want to go
once before I lived this space
and I'm right back in that place
I listened to your words before
then you left me crying on the floor
so now why do I fool myself
that you are here for me now
once again you use me
just to wipe your furrowed brow
