I was left out in the cold,I used to feel so brilliant, so good about my life, but after I got involved with you, all I felt was strife. I'd spend my days thinking of you, knowing you were with her. I tried to focus on other things, but it all turned to a blur. At night before I'd lay my head down, I'd close my eyes and pray that a miracle would happen and we'd be together someday. I kept my faith and hopes up for what seemed like a million years, ever day just wishing you'd come and wipe away my tears. But you never came to rescue me, I was left out in the cold, and slowly as I lay there waiting, my heart became worn and old. Finally, after such suffering, my poor heart finally died. I felt like I needed to weep some more, but all the tears had been cried. So since I've been without you, I haven't known what else to do, than to remember all the good times that I used to spend with you. And just in case you were wondering, though my heart has died, the love I'll ALWAYS have for you is burning deep inside. One day in your precious life, someone will walk in and you'll find out that's the person you want to spend eternity with. If you're lucky, you'll get to spend that eternity with them, but even if you somehow lose them, they stay a part of you forever, and so does their love, because once love has branded itself on your heart, it becomes a part of you, something you can't live without.
