I had to get away from the city one day

(Enjoy the soothing sounds of water flowing in this poem)
I had to get away
from the city one day
and go out to the country
where I could find peace
and tranquility
So I decided to go down
by the mountain
down by the stream
where serenity
could comfort me
in a special way
that day
And I found
the perfect place
to find peace
standing on top of
an old wooden bridge
down below a waterfall
And in an instant
I could feel
a peace coming over me
as I listened
to the soft soothing sounds
of a waterfall
falling down
right in front of me
This was my sanctuary
In that very moment I realized
that this wasn't such a bad idea
getting away from the city that day
and out into the country
It was the best thing
that I could ever do.
