A Day


From Sunrise to Sunset
Twenty four hours
One thousand, four
hundred and forty minutes
One full day!

Thousands born
Thousands die
Thousands pray
Thousand cry

The earth's crust moves
the ocean tides change
Volcanos erupt
Hurricanes came
Tornadoes maim

Bullets and bombs
warriors and wars
Death and destruction
Poverty and starvation
Crime and Taxes

Sunrise-Sunset
Just Another Day!
