God Sent Me An Angel An angel came into my life. She knew not what I was but heard My cry. Through all my struggles and strife there the angel stood Saying come home my wondering child. Come home. Then God looked down upon me with his gentle smile. I send the angel to you with love from above. She came and sat with me a while. As we talk she showed me God's gentle smile. For she knew all that was in my heart. She heard my cry with her peaceful gaze she never let me go. When I prayed she knew all. Her words so sweet and kind. My angel proved God's love to me with grace abound I knew at last my prayer were heard. Her words so kind as her gentle touch. Upon that great day on the mountain top I was feeling God fed me with his Holy Fountain. As he sent a gentle smile my way. I knew I was blest that every day.
