You mean the world to me
You mean the world to me
Written by D.A.M
December 21, 2006 (7:53pm)

I found myself sitting
in a field of tall grass
thinking about you
under the blue skies today

And I began thinking
about how much
you had touched
my life in such a special way

There was a time
when you first
came into my life
that I was just
hanging on by a thread

Because my whole
world was torn in two

Because I honestly
felt like
nobody cared

And when you
walked into my life
and  you shared
your love with me
I began to start
living again

Because you showed me
that I could
heal from my pain
and that I really
could start living again
because you cared about me

Before you came
into my life

I really didnt care
if I lived or I died
because I was having a really
hard time since my mother died
and I was just hanging on by a thread

Everything is different now

And I am glad
that you taught me
how to love again
and how to heal inside

Thank you for
caring about me
and loving me
the way that you do

Because you  mean
the world to me.
