Mother

Today, you are here again,
I can feel your warming smile.
The air is calm and feeling good…
For another short while.
Once we danced and held hands,
You held me warm and calm.
Many a time when I did fall…
You softly held out your arms.
Now the years have passed and I have grown,
No longer are you here.
I wish that I could see you now…
So I could tell you… you are dear.
And mother sweet I do feel you close,
sometimes, we are one.
I just wish that i could see you smile...
when you see... who i've become.
