You keep going back

(This poem is about being broken hearted and alone)
You keep going back again
to a place that will
never ever be the same
and I am always the one
who is left behind
And I don't understand why
I can see the pain
that you go through
every time you go away
I go through the same pain
that you go through every day
And I can see how
your whole life
has been rearranged
I know mine has been
every time you go away
Dont you realize
that your running
out of tokens
and I can see why
because a part of you
feels like
you are going insane
I really wish you could see
what all of this has done to me
Because every time that you go away
I end up going to sleep
at night feeling really lonely
because your not with me
I can just imagine
what it has done to you too
because your so far away
I know that you love me
I honestly do
And I love you too
Thats why all of this
is really hard on me too
And yet you
keep going back
over and over again
And every time
that you go away
I am always the one
who is left behind
feeling lonely
in every way
I'm sure you feel
the same way too
You should
know by now
that things
will never ever
be the same again
Because you have
grown apart from everyone
that you have ever known
and now your going through
separation syndrome
You know you cant
keep holding on
to a dream
that will never be
It's time to face reality
so that you can move on
and start living
your life again
I know that
there is a part of you
that wants to stay there
And yet there
is another part of you
that wants to come back here
to be with me in my sanctuary
where peace will embrace you completely
But honestly don't you think that it is time
for you to let go of the insanity
and face reality
I know that you will
keep going back
and forth to a place
that will never be
be the same again.
And I know that it will
leave you heart broken
And in return
you have to realize
that every time
that you leave me
that I will always be the one
who is left behind feeling empty
to suffer all over again
because your not with me.
