A butterfly crossed
your path today
But did you know
that every time
that you see
a butterfly
as it floats by
that an angel
is close to you
to enlighten you
in a colorful way
The next time
that you see a butterfly
with its decorative
colorful wings spanned wide
as it delicately floats by
Try to remember
to look up
to the skies
because an angel
is watching over you today
to comfort you
in a heavenly way
Be thankful
that a butterfly
has crossed
your path today
Because an angel
really is close by
to brighten your day
in an enlightening way
