You have become a stronger person

You have walked through fire
and you never once got burned
You have kept your head high
and you have survived the storms
and some how you have become
a stronger person
You have fallen into quick sand
and you never did drown
Because you have always
picked yourself back up again
You been surrounded by snakes
along the path of your every day life
And many times you actually thought
that you were going to die
But your still here
You have experienced many snake bites
through out the course of your life
and some how you have become
immune to there venom
And along the way
you have become
a stronger person
You gone swimming with sharks
through there ferocious feeding cycles
And you have never once been bitten
Because you have a purpose in your life
At least you still have your pride
Nothing has ever
been easy for you
Yet you still keep fighting
and you keep struggling every day
At least your still around
and you haven't died
You have amazed me
on more then one occasion
Because you have
never been one
to give up
You still have the will to live
inside of you
And that's amazing
after everything
that you have been through
Life is not perfect
in any way or form
It never will be
There will be many distraction
through out your life time
But for some reason
no matter how many times
they come around
at least you keep fighting
You have been chosen
to keep living for a reason
I am glad that you finally
woke up one day
and that you decided
that you could no longer live that way
At least you have gotten
past the confusions
and the deceptions
from the illusions
through your
own life experiences
And you have lived
to talk about it
The hummingbird
has always been
inside your mind
ever since the day
that you were born
and it has always
given you a choice
and you have always
had two directions
that you could choose
from
But only you can
make that decision
in your own time
You can go back
to where you have been
or you can move forward
and truly start living
so that you will
never have to go
through the pain
that you went through
mentally or physically
ever again
If you can accept
that yesterday is gone
and that it will never
return
Then you can get a second chance
so that you will never ever have to
live in a bed of thorns again
Step away now
while you still
have a chance
and move forward
while you still can
beyond the steps
of deception
and the illusions
that you have been living in
And let go of the confusions
of every day life
from all the broken promises
and the lies that were told to you
And feel
free to walk away
so that you can start
living your life again
with a little more confidence
and a whole lot of patience
and no more pain
I know that you can
You have survived
and you have lived
through the hell
that you have gone through
And it has been a nightmare
every step of the way
It is time for you
to fly away
so that you can be free
from the nest of thorns
that used to be
right in front of you
Take a good look around
because there truly is
a bed of roses
waiting for you
not just in your dreams
but in reality too
so that you can see life
in a whole different way
and finally be free
to be who ever
you want to be.
