Maybe some day
you will come back to me
and then I will no longer
be alone without you in my arms
Because I sure do miss
all the tender moments
that we used to share together
I am sure that you miss them too
just as much as I do
Ever since you went away
my heart has been torn in two
I can just imagine
what you have been going through
because I know that you are in love with me too
Half of me is still here
but the other half of me
is crying inside because you aren't here
I keep holding on to
my dreams of being with you again
because I honestly believe
that dreams really do come true
and that you will come back to me soon
But until that day arrives
I will still have my memories of you
and I will always cherish the moments
that we used to share together
when you were here
Because you have always
meant the world to me
and you always will
I think the loneliness
that I feel for you
is finally catching up to me
and it is becoming harder
on me every day
Because you are
so far away
As long as I live
I will always miss holding
you in my arms
and gently kissing you
and telling you in person
just how much I love you
and how much I need you in my life
Because I really do care about you
Maybe some day
you will find your way
and you will come back to me
some day

finally feel whole again
