She waits  hopelessly
next to the ocean moon
as she stares into the night sky
in a trance like state of mind
hoping that her lover
will come back to her soon

Because a part
of her is lost
and she thinks
it is to late

Because she feels
like she has lost
the one true love in her life
that meant everything to her

But what will  her fate be
will he come back to her
or will she be alone
for the rest of her life

She doesn't want to
die of a lonely heart
and she doesn't want to live
the rest of her life being apart

So she continues to
contemplate
on the decisions
she must make

Because the only person
she has ever loved
is so far away
and she keeps asking herself

Will everything be
like it was before
and will it still be the same

Only time will tell

But until that day comes

She will continue to wait
hopelessly next to the ocean moon
as she stares into the night sky
in a trance like state of mind

Hoping and praying
that her lover
will come back
to her some day soon
