The one person
who means everything
to you is so far away,
Every night
when you go to sleep
you meet him
in your dreams
because he always stays
right beside you
every step of the way,
If only For a moment
it does seem to help you
but it's just not the same
I know how hard it is
when you cant hold the one
you have loved in your arms
and you start thinking about
how much time has gone by
and you find yourself wondering
why do things have to be this way
The hours turn into days
and the days turn into weeks
and months go by
and tears still fall down
from your eyes
because you are so lonely
without the one person
who means everything
and more to you
Never give up hope
and always continue to pray
as you look up to the skies
for your answers
that some day
the one person that you love
will find a way
to come back to you
to spend the rest of his life
with you in his arms
So that neither one of you
will ever feel lonely again
